Behind the old chap (me) in the photo is
the door of a romany caravan which I restored.
I painted the horse portrayed thereon and it is none other than "THE LOST HORSE OF MERRITHORPE" jumping through one of her four golden horseshoes each of which is a crucial clue in my story:

RUBIN AND THE LOST HORSE OF MERRITHORPE.

This was my first story and the flyer reproduced below, gives a little of its flavour.
The book is also available on Amazon which gives a further description and good reviews.

Now for a little about myself:

It is years since I retired as an aerospace engineer and now I keep myself interested in various creative hobbies like woodwork, metalwork, music and art
I also have an old house and large garden which my wife Liz and I try to maintain in a creative way

Before retiring I contributed to several technical publications and I have been involved in
drawing, painting and Illustrating for an equally long time.
However, "Rubin and the lost horse of Merrithorpe", is my first self-published book.
I hope you enjoy browsing my site, and if you are inspired to acquire my book for yourselves or you children, I wish you all much pleasure in reading it.

Best wishes
Sam
